Dr. Korakot Aromdee became the shooting star of Thai interior design in 2006, based on the pillars of sustainability, tradition and innovation 🤲🏻

Together with his team, he makes his lamps, furniture and architectural objects from bamboo or hemp rope using traditional kite weaving techniques. He learned this as a child from his grandfather, who was a true expert in the traditional Chula kites 🐉

In the meantime, Korakot occupies almost his entire home village with his projects, which can be found in hotels, restaurants and flagship stores all over the world: his sculptures and architectural installations and decorative objects exude a very special atmosphere – an overwhelming overall impression of exoticism, warmth, clear structure and amorphous freedom: nature and culture combined in the best way 🫱🏻‍🫲🏼
